Despite the stormy weather, we managed get a good group of our members on the evening of December 4th. There were many donated treasures at the Toonie Sale and, thanks to the organizational prowess of Theresa Herron and JoAnne Howes, and your generosity we managed to raise $ for the club–and members got to take home some lovely new and gently used items to enjoy!
Thank you Sharon Thompson for organizing a rousing round of garden related trivia-congratulations to Team Azalea for their victory! And thank you Grace Osmond for donating the “worm tea” as prizes for the winning team! Certainly one of THE MOST creative prizes we’ve ever had!
The Winter Flower show had a number of beautiful entries-all judged by our generous stand in judge Anne Slemming. Thanks to all who took the time, and braved the weather to bring in their creative designs and photographs.
