Join us on Wednesday, October 5th when Dr. David Burton, a Soil Scientist, a Dalhousie Distinguished Research Professor, Director of Dalhousie’s Centre for Sustainable Soil Management, and a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Soil Science.
Dr Burton will define and discuss the emerging concept of “regenerative agriculture” and place it with in the context of other current agricultural concepts such as soil health, organic agriculture, sustainable agriculture, sustainable intensification, and conventional agriculture. His discussion will explain why this concept is emerging and what we can hope to gain from this approach to agriculture
